The Flint Field House is an excitingly versatile and multi-functional space that appeals to enthusiasts of all kinds. With its athletic and recreational capabilities from practices to games to tournaments, and with its ability to be transformed into a special events venue, the Field House is a showcase part of the Centennial Centre. A $500,000 contribution from Flint has made this facility possible.

Due to the extremes of the Northern Alberta climate, the Field House is climate-controlled in order to ensure the safety and comfort of all patrons year-round. The 3-pour design polyurethane flooring in the Field House makes it appealing to even the most avid athletes. For special events, a covering is pulled over the rubberized floor to make it visually appealing and safe.

ATHLETIC: The Field House is already pre-designed and lined for several sports, thus rendering it ideal for training, practice sessions, games, and tournaments:

  • Indoor Soccer Pitch
  • 4 Volleyball courts
  • 6 Badminton courts
  • 3 Basketball courts
  • Track and Field elements: Pole-vault  Pit, Long Jump/Triple Jump Pit

ENTERTAINMENT:  The Field House is an ideal venue for premier entertainment.  This venue has already hosted many outstanding          and memorable events:

  • Capacity of approx. 800 for seating at tables, and a 2250 capacity for concerts

Equipped with:

  • 40’ by 40’ stage.
  • 10’ by 10’ projection screen or 13 ½ by 15

  • Lighting consists of 48 flood lights – stage light quality
  • Podium
  • Tables and chairs (if desired)
