A Place Called Love in Bonnyville

 

Johnny Reid will be performing at the Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre this fall on his “A PLACE CALLED LOVE - 2010 CROSS CANADA TOUR”.  Come see this Juno and CCMA award-winning artist at the C2 Field House on FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 24, 2010.  Opening act will be special guests ‘The Stellas’.

 

After sweeping the boards and collecting six CCMA awards in 2009, Johnny Reid is poised to enhance his presence in the Canadian music scene with this nationwide tour. 

 

Johnny Reid will be performing on the 2010 Juno Awards broadcast, airing Sunday April 18 on CTV and has received four nominations for the awards:

 

• JUNO Fans Choice
• Album of the Year
• Artist of the Year
• Country Album of the Year

 

Johnny Reid’s previous album, DANCE WITH ME certified Double Platinum in Canada.  ‘Dance With Me’ was the No. 3 best-selling country album in 2009 and No. 1 Canadian Country Album of the Year (Billboard Canada).  Johnny was also the second best-selling Canadian artist and sixth best-selling artist overall in 2009 in Canada.

 

A DVD, “Johnny Reid, Live At The Jubilee” was released in February 2010 and reached triple platinum status in just 3 weeks.

 

Tickets for Johnny Reid’s show at the Bonnyville Centennial Centre will be available to “Tartan Army” fan club members Tuesday April 13, 2010, and will be on sale to the public 10am Friday April 16, 2010.

Reserved floor seats are priced at $85, $70 and $60 in advance.  All tickets are $10 extra at the door.  Enjoy dinner and the concert in a private booth for $750.  Booths include six box seats and meals provided by the Weatherford Centre Ice Restaurant. All ticket prices are inclusive of fees and taxes.
