Johnny Reid Ticket Update / 2nd Show Details

 

The upcoming Johnny Reid concert at the Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre on Friday September 24, 2010 is a sell-out.  After a frantic weekend there were less than 100 tickets remaining on Monday, April 19th and all tickets sold in only 6 days.

 

The first few fans started showing up at 8.30am on Friday morning and by the time tickets officially went on sale an hour and a half later, the lineup stretched almost all the way across the C2 Hub.  The staff at the Welcome Desk rose to the challenge and within the first half hour all the booths and almost half of the floor tickets had been sold.  All day the phones continued to ring constantly, people continued to arrive at the Centennial Centre and the C2 website was inundated with hits. 

 

This has been the fastest selling show in C2 history for what will be a truly special evening with one of the most popular acts in Canadian music.  Although a few big names have performed in Bonnyville, Johnny Reid is currently receiving far more press and publicity than any previous acts.

 

His performances are constantly aired on CMT and he has just been awarded the Country Album of The Year for ‘Dance With Me’ at the 2010 Juno Awards which were broadcast on Sunday, April 18th on CTV.

 

Due to popular demand, a second show has been added on Friday October 8.  Although tickets have been selling fast for this show as well, there are still tickets remaining for all sections.  Tickets are available from the Centennial Centre Box Office and can be purchased online at www.centennialcentre.ca, by phone on 780-812-3400, or in person at the C2 Welcome Desk.
